On May 27th, 2008, we had our first meeting. In a single year, we've grown so fast that we already have almost 400 members! In this meeting, we celebrated our one-year anniversary. We look forward to many more successful years to come!

Gabriel Powell (Chapter Leader) taught us how to design a form in Adobe InDesign, export that form as a static PDF file, and use Adobe Acrobat Pro to automatically convert it into an interactive form. Along the way, he shared a wealth of tips that make the form creation process easier.

During the break, we celebrated our one year anniversary with a toast. After the break, Gabriel picked up from where he left off and explained different methods for distributing a form and collecting responses. He showed us how to use Acrobat.com (a free service) to distribute a form and automatically download and organize the responses. He also showed us how to send a form as an email attachment and manually collect the responses in your email inbox. After Gabriel finished, Guy van der Kolk (Assistant Chapter Leader) shared some time-saving Adobe Illustrator tips!

During our raffle, we gave away some great prizes including two subscriptions to InDesign Magazine, two copies of Instant InDesign, a copy of Learn Adobe Photoshop CS4 by Video, and of course a copy of Adobe InDesign CS4.
