Cheryl Zwart presented the topic that seems to be everyone's favourite -- styles!!! In Brisbane this seemed to bring many new faces to the IDUG Meeting (and a very full house). I think all will agree styles save sooo much time and delete repetitive tasks, like bolding and Paragraph rules etc.

Cheryl covered the easiest character styles right through to the hardest (well I think they are pretty hard) Table styles. The exciting part of the evening for all was the Question and Answer time, where many troublesome style problems were fixed or will be (hopefully!!) fixed by next meeting.

Luckily Cheryl has passed on her notes in PDF form; they are available for download at the bottom of this page. As Cheryl is a local and loyal Brisbane IdUG meeting-goer she will be around at many more to help out other members. We all hope to see her present at many more meetings in the future.

We all hope to see the new and old faces at our next meeting. And make sure it is a great opportunity to learn and share with others.

Next Meeting

We continually have requests for more Tips and Tricks, so for our next meeting in October, we will be including a tips and tricks with Q&A section as well a bit of a "Creative Suite Mash-Up" session.

The best tip or Trick offered in either InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop (and maybe Flash but it will have to be good!) may win the ultimate prize pack (still to be organised but it will be decent, umm, ultimate).

So get your tips and tricks to us to test and also any hard Questions you can't seem to get an answer on, and see if you can stump us or offer to help out on Questions coming through. All these need to be in by mid-September (plenty of time, right?) and you don't have to present if you don't want to, but we will give you the credit and require you to attend on the night.

So get cracking and finish a terrific year with a bang.
