Almost 50 members gathered together on May 20 to learn some powerful interactive PDF features from Jim Cooper. Jim applies 40 years of publishing and database experience as Implementation VP at Apsiva, in addition to serving as Chairperson of the Reno InDesign User Group.

Everyone enjoyed food prepared by Minde, Ashleigh, and Jon. Arriving early to chat and enjoy the food and drinks is a great way to get acquainted with new members and talk with friends.

Jim showed us how we can enhance our conventional layouts with interactive PDF features. As promised in the invitation, he stepped us through some basic button options and behaviors, with the help of Zak, his little photogenic friend.

Overall, Jim showed how easily we can start creating our own "signature" documents.

ABOUT APSIVA:
Apsiva develops user-friendly, web-based content repositories that can be shared by marketing, editorial and graphic departments. Apsiva’s PRINTsource, WEBsource and CDsource products deliver unprecedented publishing efficiency for traditional formats, along with PDF, OnDemand, and Mobile media.

In addition, Apsiva develops best-practice InDesign workshops for their clients and partners. They are proving to be one of the most generous resources for live (and FREE at InDesign User Group meetings) field-tested tips-and-tricks presentations.

Thank you

THANKS... to Jim for another great presentation. We always enjoy his presentations, as well as his quick wit and sense of humor.

Special consideration to Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance for their continued support of our User Group.

Thank you to Red Line Graphics for providing notepads and pens. Many thanks to Minde, Ashleigh and Jon for taking care of the food!
