Event Details

Thanks to the 100 members who showed up for the June 19 demos of Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional and Flow, from GridIron Software.

Among the amazing new features in Acrobat 9 are PDF Portfolios, which allow users to combine differing file formats into one complete (and good looking) PDF. Noha also showcased the new Acrobat.com and the improved Auto Form Field recognition feature, which creates forms directly from InDesign documents.

Flow, a Best of Show winner at this year's Macworld event in San Francisco, is a modern workflow tracker which invisibly creates a graphical model of each step and asset that goes into your projects. Flow promises to be a major player for designers and production people. Look for the release of Flow later this summer.

Thanks again to Noha Edell of Adobe Systems for presenting Acrobat 9, and to Karen Gauthier of GridIron Software who flew in from Ottawa to demo Flow.

Thank you

Thanks, too, to our generous sponsors who provided items for our raffle. They include Adobe Systems Inc., Markzware, O'Reilly Publishing, Lynda.com,
and GridIron Software.
