Tuesday, 2 June 2009 we will delve into the world of efficient, cool, clever and fun ways to format and work with text in InDesign
.
This will be an informative and entertaining evening in which Marianne and Cari take turns in showing you some of the coolest text formatting techniques available in InDesign. We’ll be looking at how we can use Object Styles to create cool visual text effects, we’ll show some cool GREP-styles, line styles, what Open Type can bring to your designs and many other fantastic tips and techniques for working with text in InDesign.
Itis a must attend evening. Marianne has a wealth of knowledge on all things Adobe, and has just attended the Creative Suite Developer Summit in Seattle, WA, US. She's flying to Perth especially to present at our IDUG.
In our secondary short session, Marianne will demonstrate some of the Ctrl plug-ins, developed for enhancing our editorial workflows in InDesign and InCopy. Learn how a copywriter can edit text in InCopy, whilst the art-director still has full control over the InDesign document, and how you can track changes in InDesign.
