Why do I need Color Management?

We had a great lecture from a very smart person -- Michel Soresky.

I'm sure we were all very enriched by the knowledge and attitude of Michel in the field of color management and generally by his approach to color, Photoshop, and InDesign.

I remember him saying he hoped we wouldn't get lost and me replying: "Too late!" :)

I especially liked Michel's approach to asking questions instead of doing the a-z steps to the best picture ever. For me, it helps a lot to keep on asking questions whenever I can so I never take anything for granted in this way.

We need to say really big thanks to Tovi Ben Herzel who helped us find this great meeting place that accommodated us so kindly and for free. I think it might be the beginning of a new friendship unless someone will find us a better meeting place in the center.

Personally, I wish to thank Haddas and Anat from Quicksoft whom without their help and support our group wouldn't have taken place and for certain wouldn't have grown like it has since its beginning. We are already 151 members in the group and still growing!

72 members registered for the event; 52 people came.

All together we were 60 people in the meeting place, so we were really lucky to have this place.

Batshi has become the official group helper and with out her big help and mental support I know I wouldn't have succeeded in pulling this meeting together so soon.

I wish to say big thanks to all of you who came and to all those who couldn't make it.

I wish to say one thing other thing, though: Since our success is held in the responsibility of all of us, it's crucial that we all contribute to the group.

First - By coming to each event, even if we "know this stuff " by heart
Second - We are always looking for more sponsors so we can do more in our meetings.
Third - if anyone wants to lecture on any subject that is close to our field, please email me so we can arrange the next meeting soon.
